Writing Skills and Writing Approaches in ESL Classroom: A Systematic Review

چکیده

The English language is used as the universal to communicate with people worldwide in era of globalisation more global citizens take up a Second Language (ESL). In line that, Ministry Education (MOE) has emphasised importance especially aspect writing. This paper presents systematic literature review relevant published from 20152021, span seven years. It discusses writing approaches implemented by teachers teach skills. A total 15 papers related were obtained using PRISMA method Google Scholar, Scopus and ERIC. two questions addressed this research are; (i) what are which suitable for ESL classroom? (ii) impacts selected improving difficulties? findings revealed that five commonly process based approach, product genre process- approach processgenre approach. results indicated positive outcomes then negative outcomes.
